Oh, how I love these! You can’t go wrong with some ‘business in the front, party in the back’ clothes for kids. These shorts are certainly a bit of fun! This is my last make from the Sew Fab Pattern Bundle and I’ve been so impressed with each of the patterns I have used.
This pattern is the Terra’s Treasures Long Beach Board Shorts. It’s a great pattern with an awesome size range (3-6mo – 14yr) and long leg length for boys and short for girls.
I used the blue drill on the front and back, and the octopus printed poplin on the contrast bum panel. Despite the detailing, these are a pretty quick sew, especially if you already have some piping on hand. I’m planning on making many more pair of these!
Roman doesn’t like his shorts too long, so I made these up in the size 4, but using the size 2 length. The fit is perfect on him.
